About the role

The Client Services team at Zero Hash acts as the customer’s trusted advisor and partner, building and growing an ongoing healthy relationship with each customer. Team members are responsible for onboarding new businesses, preserving current business, facilitating daily operations, and opening doors for additional opportunities. The team is currently split into three verticals: Platform Solutions, Settlement Operations, and Customer Experience.

The Vice President of Settlement Operations will serve as an advisor and mentor to the Settlement Operations and will ensure operational excellence while scaling the team. Providing world-class operational support 24/7 to our B2B platforms is mission-critical at Zero Hash. The Vice President of Settlement Operations will ensure all B2B level relationships are fully supported at all times and in all geographies.

This role reports to the Chief Client Officer.


  • Work closely with and advise the Chief Client Officer and Director of Settlement Operations to ensure efficient team growth and optimize ZH’s ability to scale.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations and Finance to develop and execute on ZH’s long-term operational and growth strategies.
  • Drive alignment with key internal stakeholders.
  • Champion and execute on new strategic initiatives with our critical partners.
  • Grow and streamline treasury operations management while also managing and cultivating various banking relationships.
  • Oversee and ​​resolve financial and technical issues.
  • Assist in the management and development of regional teams to ensure an optimal 24/7/365 operational support structure.


  • 10+ years of experience in global operations at a SaaS fintech company (e.g. banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, payment-as-a-service business).
  • 5+ years of settlement operational leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional financial settlement as well as digital asset management.
  • Excellent knowledge of web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP and REST.
  • Strong knowledge of web architecture and how data passes between systems.
  • Proficiency in common query languages, e.g. SQL.
  • Self-starter able to take on complex tasks with minimal oversight and guidance.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to interact with enterprise customer teams at various levels of technical and non-technical depth.
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with payments systems, trading technologies, and/or brokerage-as-a-service.

  • Knowledge of digital assets, lending, yield, and defi products.
